Hospitality Weekend In The Woods Aftermovie 2021

-

The highly anticipated annual Drum & Bass Festival from Hospitality took place this weekend and it was epic!

Having established the Hospitality In The Park festival in London’s Finsbury Park over the past few years, the scene was shocked at the announcement of both a relocation and rebrand for the 2021 event.

Hospitality Weekend In The Woods 2021 was announced back in January and took place last weekend in South London’s Beckenham Place Park. The line up was a literal who’s who of drum and bass featuring the likes of A.M.C, Micky Finn, Mozey, My Nu Leng, Calibre, Pola & Bryson, DJ Hype, Hazard, Noisia, plus of course resident Hospital Records artists such as S.P.Y, London Elektricity, Etherwood, Unglued, Metrik, Nu:Tone, Kings Of The Rollers and many more.

The S-shaped site, surrounded by trees, snaked past a host of festival stages, all featuring world class D&B artists. With sound sytems hosted by Let It Roll, Playaz, Critical & Kings Of The Rollers to name a few, this event had something for all D&B lovers. EDM star Skrillex was even spotted raving there!

Touch & Go

As with all festivals this summer it was touch and go if Hospitality Weekend In The Woods 2021 would have been able to go ahead.

Due to the Corona Virus situation, many large scale events didn’t happen this summer. Others such as Birmingham’s MADE Festival were forced to change dates and then relocate as the powers that be made up the rules for the events industry as the COVID-19 pandemic developed.

Thankfully for Hospitality Weekend In The Woods their late September date was far enough down the line that the industry test events had paved the way, alongside the UK’s vaccine roll out reaching the target age group for festivals of this nature.

Hospitality In The Park always attracted a lot of international drum and bass fans. How the restrictions for travel to the UK effected the army of Hospital Records supporters from overseas we’re not sure… But the festival sold out in record time!!

Next Hospitality Events

Over the coming months the Hospitality D&B events team have parties lined up all over the place. With UK tour nights scheduled in Birmingham, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Bristol, Jersey, Brighton, plus international events in Berlin, Estonia, Amsterdam for ADE, plus their Hospitality On The Beach D&B holiday, they are definitely back with a bang!

Keep your eyes peeled for more information onHWITW 2022 coming very soon, plus of course we expect them to drop their own officialHospitality Weekend In The Woods Aftermovie in the not too distant future.
