Drum & bass imprint RAM Records, founded by drum & bass producer Andy C, presented a special celebration of orchestral drum & bass at the Barbican… OrchestRAM!
Following the success of OrchestRAM at Milton Court back in September 2022, the show returned, improved & updated for 2023 with renditions of tracks from the iconic label’s catalogue which will be performed by a drum and bass orchestra mad up of professional alumni from Guildhall School of Music and Drama, joined by live vocalists on the Barbican stage.
This was the first-ever full-length drum & bass production in London’s historic Barbican Hall!

The evening took audiences on an epic orchestral journey into the genre, with the 37-piece Guildhall Session Orchestra performing many of RAM’s biggest hits.
Classic RAM releases from the likes of Chase & Status, Wilkinson, Sub Focus, Origin Unknown, DJ Fresh, and RAM Trilogy were performed along with interpretations of more recent releases from Mandidextrous, Culture Shock, Mob Tactics, Andy C and Raiser by the orchestra, elevated by undaunted stage production to match the energy on stage.
