Festival season in the UK is back in full flow with events acros the country selling out in record time. Understandably demand to get back raving in fields is at an all time high after last summers season of cancellations linked to the COVID-19 pandemic which swept, not just the UK, but the entire world.
The only country that managed to avoid a disappointing festival season in 2020 was New Zealand who saw a glut of international drum and bass superstars including Andy C, Subfocus, Dimension, Bou, Turno & Inja jetting over to play shows.

Southbound Festival
A brand new event to this summers London festival scene was Southbound Festival and it was a great first outing for them. The sun was shining in the capital as thousands of beautiful party people descended on Morden Park to party to the sounds of drum and bass acts such Sigma, SASASAS, Turno, Benny L, Problem Central, TNA, Grooverider, Brockie, Ego Trippin & Bryan Gee.
The LoveThatBass crew were in attendance on the day & managed to catch some footage that summed up the festival perfectly. With 6 stages covering all aspects of bass music, we’re pleased to say that drum and bass was the flavour of the day… The Breakin Science / One Nation arena was the first to fill and remained busy for the duration of the event.
Sigma’s closing set on the main stage was the perfect ending to the days festivities with all the lights, lasers & pyrotechnics set off to close the party with a bang.
Credit it to Ned Graham for filming & editing the footage of the day at Southbound Festival.
Keep your ears to the ground for details on next years Southbound Festival. No doubt details will be posted both right here on LoveThatBass & on their official website as soon as info is released.
