DJ Marky’s Innerground label today released a brand new two-track single from Channell.
Originally from London, but now based in Manchester, Channell has been progressively developing his craft over the last few years. His sound is inspired by his passionate love for soulful music and his range of influences can be heard within his production.
‘An Untitled Summer‘ and ‘Less Talk’ are Channell’s debut releases on Innerground.

Both tracks are packed full of those sunny Innerground vibes and are perfect for the summertime. As such we decided we should take Channell to task to find out what his favourite 3 summer D&B tracks are. He delivered 3 incredible selections…
M.I.S.T Feat Jenna G – Lover
My three favourite summer dnb records.. It’s absolutely impossible to pick just three! But as I have to the first would be ‘Lover’ by M.I.S.T. The track is just an instant classic, goes off in and out of the dance. The addition of Jenna G’s vocals just bring the song to life, not to mention the luscious harmonic stabs in the breakdown to get you inspired. It’s just an all round masterpiece!
Boosta, Atmos T & Nicole – All My Love
The next track would have to be ‘All My Love’ by Boosta, Atmos T & Nicole. This record just screams summer anthem wherever or whenever you set your ears on it. I love the heart warming movement of the piano mixed with the upbeat nature of the rhythm which makes it one of my go-to’s for any dance floor.
Goldie – Run Run Run (Calibre Remix)
Summer, DnB, it would be criminal not to have Calibre in there! As such I’ve gone with a his remix of ‘Run Run Run’ by Goldie. Calibre has this ability to turn anything into gold, I love how the track progresses and builds up to a beautiful climax with the amazing Tyler Daley gracing the mic. This combination is my definition of soul music.
