Remedy Remix EP Released

Back in January we launched a competition to remix ‘Remedy’ by Glitch City.

This week we unleashed an EP featuring four red hot ‘Remedy’ Remixes from the competition winners, alongside Glitch City’s brilliant original track.

We received a ton of great entries for this competition showcasing to us just how many great up & coming producers there are out there. Originally we were looking to find just one great remix, but the variation in styles made it so hard to choose one single winner. In the end, after much deliberation with Glitch City, we settles on four of our favourite entries to release as an EP.

The Remixes

Gatehouse X Nautika – These guys brought something different to the table. A great use of the samples. Sounds very polished.

Dub Flavour – Straight outta Germany, Dub Flavour came with a raw, gritty version for her remix. It’s got that club sound that’d work well in the 2nd room at Fabric

Lightshapers – A really well produced piece of music, taking the samples and reworking them, masterfully adding his own sound on the track

Meridian – Glitch City was all over this one. It’s one of those tunes you can bounce to. We love the drop!

Feedback For This Release

This EP received some amazing DJ feedback from trendsetters such as Simon Bassline Smith, Phantasy, DJ Rap, Nicky Blackmarket, Ama, Benny V from Kool FM, Kara and more.

The Gatehouse X Nautika remix also got featured on Dom Whiting’s popular Drum & Bass On A Bike live stream in Bristol!
