Drum & Bass is the perfect music for working out. The 170-180 beats per minute tempo can be followed at full speed to reach you maximum heart rate for HIIT training, or followed at half speed simply to elevate your cardio rate at to a steady pace to work up a sweat.
Workout programs such as 175 Fitness, Fight Club, HIIT The Floor have tapped into the potential of Drum & Bass workouts. Even fitness company Peloton has got in on the action, check out Hannah Frankson’s D&B rides on there.
Physical exercise is not just great for your body, but it’s of benefit to your mental health, releasing endorphins into your system to make you feel better in yourself. A workout will also wear you out, helping you get a better nights sleep.
