Today, in a post shared on his social media channels, DJ Bailey announced that he is parting ways with London club night Soul In Motion.
Bailey, who rose to prominence via his residencies at Metalheadz, Swerve and of course his BBC 1Xtra Drum & Bass shows, was one of the co-founders of the Soul In Motion club nights back when it launched in 2014.
Of course the wording has left people wondering what the ethos behind the brand is that he can no longer be part of?
Soul In Motion responded to this statement with a post of their own stating that “Soul In Motion have mutually agreed to part ways with Bailey“, and that they “wish him all the best with his future plans“
What’s Next For Bailey?
He wasted no time in pushing forward with the afore mentioned future plans, announcing the launch of his new event Intabeats.
Taking place on Wednesday 15th November at Grow in Hackney Wick, London, Bailey says that “Intabeats is a place for artists and ravers to openly explore and experience Drum & Bass. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and I hope you can come and be part of it“
