Ibiza based D&B label Balearic Breaks introduce the newest artist to their family, the talented Dan Guidance.
Just like the Balearic Breaks label, the Bristol based Drum and Bass producer is mostly associated with the atmospheric liquid side of drum and bass music, and has previously released on labels such as Technique, Fokuz, Celsius & Soul Deep.
The ‘Light Headed EP’ was released today and fully showcases not just his production talent, but also highlights just how soulful drum & bass can be.
The title track ‘Light Headed’ immediately uplifts the spirits, evoking a sense of nostalgia as it transports you on a musical voyage back to the carefree eras of 70’s and 80’s funk and soul. On the flip ‘Heart Breaks’ is a slightly more commercially flavoured vocal track that seizes your attention right from the outset. The edgy vocals, coupled with a splendid arrangement, demand your complete focus.
Summing up the EP the label said “We hope that it not only extends your summer vibes but also serves as a catalyst for a much brighter Indian summer ahead”
