Dillinja & MC GQ teamed up for a special live stream from the London Coliseum. Usually home to the English National Opera, Dillinja & GQ bought an hour of straight bangers, no clangers to this presigious London venue for the final stream of the London Unlocked series.
The London Coliseum is the biggest theatre in London’s West End and was originally built in 1904 as a family variety show venue. The English National Opera moved to the venue in 1968, then in the 2000’s they took over the freehold and lovingly restored the space to its Edwardian details with support and funding from The National Lottery and Arts Council England among other donors.
Dillinja, GQ, Sherelle & Tim Reaper performed as part of the London Unlocked series of events. Fabric in partnership with Arts Council England launched London Unlocked on the 14th March, and have been hosting a string of live streams each Sunday, across the past seven weeks, at some of London’s most iconic cultural spaces.
Previous London Unlocked events were filmed at landmark venues in the capital such at the Royal Albert Hall, Smithfield Market, Tower Bridge, and the V&A Museum.
