Evermix To Cease Trading

-

Evermix, the company that manufacture the popular recorders trusted by many DJs, promoters & venues, have announced they are to cease trading.

While sales of the Evermix Box 4 boomed during lockdown with demand from housebound live stream DJs, it seems they’ve not fared so well over the past few months.

Difficult Market Conditions

In a statement emailed to their customers they wrote;

In the very near future we need to close the Evermix business.

Difficult market conditions last year, the price and availability of core components & chips, and many months spent out of stock have ultimately proved too difficult for us to recover from.

We had new hardware plans in the pipeline and a brand new app that is almost ready to go, but unfortunately we just ran out of cash and cannot get back into a position to resume manufacturing of the EvermixBox4.

We have been trying to find last minute investment or a buyer and will continue to fight to the end to keep the business going but, as it stands, it’s not looking good.

We would like to send massive thanks to all the DJs, venues, retailers and partners around the world who have supported us on our amazing journey and we still do hope that someone might step in to buy Evermix so that we can rise again.

Sad news given that just recently the website djtechreviews.com described the product by saying “Evermix Is DJ Set Recorder Royalty“. High praise indeed! I’ve also been a big fan of the product since buying one in the early stages of the COVID-19 lockdowns.

The team at Evermix have advised customers that the Evermix DJ app will continue to function in the near term, and the hardware will continue to work with third party apps. Also to make sure you can use your EvermixBox for years to come, they strongly advise you to purchase a spare cable while they’re still available.
