Outpouring Of Sentiments
The outpourings of sentiments for Skibadee have been dominating social media for the past week since we published our own tribute article and it’s been emotional to whitness.
It’s been great to see people throwing up graffiti murals, and sharing pictures of themselves with Skibz. It’s fair to say he left a last impression on many.

Memorial Event For Skibadee
Many have been calling for an event in memory of Skibadee. In a statement on the official SASASAS social media channels they said;
The outpouring of love we have witnessed shows how many lives he touched, how many people have been influenced by him and how many lives he has changed over the last 3 decades.
Alfie was an amazing person, kind, warm, thoughtful and he treated everyone the same no matter who he met. We have been in constant contact with his brothers and although now is not the time, as we are all still stricken with grief, we will be holding a memorial event for Skibadee in the future to celebrate his life how he would want it to be done.
We want to protect Skibadee’s legacy, what he meant to the music industry, what he meant to all of you, so our plan is to create something long lasting for him, something that his 4 children will be able to benefit from in the long term.
We understand many people may wish to be involved and we will let you know how you can be involved in due course, but for now we need to let his family and friends grieve this sad loss.
Any announcements will be made here on the official SASASAS pages
