Since launching LoveThatBass during lockdown, most of my free time has been spent building this brand, sourcing & promoting releases for the label, trying to raise the profiles of the artists on the label, and writing articles to promote the amazing things that other DJ’s, artists and promoters are doing… Often at the detriment of my own DJ career.
I’ve recently been doing some work with my friend Ross from Keep It Real, with the aim of finding more balance in the work I do. One part of that work is to find more time to push myself as an artist… So here is the first result of that work… MySound
MySound
As the title of the mix suggests, MySound is a showcase of the music I like to play.
This mix features some of my favourite tracks from across this incredible music genre. I always claim to play drum & bass… There are no sub-genres in my sets, I like find the best of each flavour of this sound. A friend described the mix to me earlier as “Proper D&B“, take from that what you will!
