Following an incredible run as a trio The Sauce are stepping into a new era. With Smithy stepping away, DLR & Hyro are taking full control to drive the alias forward as a duo. The ingredients might have shifted, but the mission statement stays exactly the same: delivering unadulterated, heavyweight drum & bass.
Speaking recently with DNBA the remaining members of The Sauce said of their former collaborator; “We’ve shared plenty of great times over the years and have nothing busy respect for the man… May The Sauce be with you”.
Who Is Smithy?
Smithy, also known as DJ Spinback, has been a formidable force in the drum & bass world since day one. As one half of the mighty Total Science (and their various aliases) he’s released on iconic labels such as True Playaz, Soul:r, Metalheadz and of course his own CIA imprint.
