The Drum & Bass Awards 2021 take place Sunday 2nd May at 7pm GMT. Due to the current climate, this year’s awards will be broadcast as a live stream aggregated across various drum and bass Facebook pages.
15 Year Anniversary
The Drum & Bass Awards have been running for 15 years now, with this year being the first that will be judged by a carefully selected panel, made up of industry professionals.
The Judges
The judges include DJ’s Nicky Blackmarket, Bryan Gee, Mollie Collins from Kiss FM & Wilf from Northbase, music journalists Rhiannon Mccarter from Magnetic Magazine & Ben Hindle of DJMag, plus of course MC Magika the founder & promoter of the event.

According to a statement on the events social media, “The awards this year will be based on the continuous hard work and efforts of industry personnel, with both online and offline content considered.”
Who’s Nominated?
Nominees in the running for this years awards have been announced, with artists including Andy C, AMC, Friction, Bou, Voltage, Gray, John B, Hybrid Minds, Alix Perez, Logan D, Eksman, AC13, Harry Shotta, Azza & Grima vying to win in categories as varied as Best DJ, Best MC, Artist of the Year, Best Producer, Best Breakthrough Artist & more.
