Easter Bank Holiday Monday just got a serious reload. In a move that defines “doing it for the culture,” Turno teamed up with Tiggs Da Author, the legendary Beenie Man, and Idris Elba to transform a standard Shoreditch off-licence into a high-octane rave.
The secret pop-up, powered by Off-Licence Sessions & NQ, caught East London by surprise. What started with Turno spinning heavyweight D&B cuts soon spiraled into a roadblock as word spread and the shop packed out with eager ravers.
A Heavyweight Link-Up
The energy hit boiling point when Turno cut the decks to introduce his collaborators. For the first time ever, the crowd witnessed Tiggs Da Author, Beenie Man, and Idris Elba performing their brand-new anthem ‘Rise Again’ live in the most intimate of settings.
The track is a masterclass in genre-blurring, fusing raw Drum & Bass energy with deep-rooted reggae, dancehall, and rap influences. It’s a bold sonic crossroads for four artists who dominate their respective lanes, resulting in a production that feels just as home on a festival main stage as it does on the airwaves.
King Of The Dancehall Charisma
Driven by Turno’s signature explosive production, the track is anchored by Tiggs Da Author’s commanding vocals and a message of perseverance. Beenie Man brings that unmistakable King of the Dancehall charisma, while Idris Elba adds a dynamic presence that bridges the gap between the various sounds.
‘Rise Again’ isn’t just a collaboration; it’s a celebration of unity across global scenes. If this pop-up was anything to go by, this track is set to be an essential spin for the summer season.
