Best Drum & Bass – 2023

-

It’s fair to say that 2023 has been a great year for drum and bass music. This year, drum and bass emerged from the underground; it burst onto the main stage, its infectious energy tearing down genre barriers and shaking dance floors from London to Melbourne.

It was a year of collaboration, veterans like Chase & Status working with the new skool of artists like Bou, their combined magic conjuring up anthems like ‘Baddadann’ that scorched festival sets and mainstream charts alike..

Packed Out Festivals & Community

2023 wasn’t just about bangers and anthems. It was also about community, drum and bass brought people together. From packed-out festivals like WAH In The City, sold out club events such as Printworks closing parties, D&B clubbing holidays like the forthcoming Break Away in Kavos, to intimate basement sessions such as those hosted each week at XOYO which included residencies from S.P.Y, DJ Hype & Break.

Kool FM returned to the airwaves, under new ownership, with an unbelievable roster of artists & label showcase shows to entertain you. We also saw the return of the legendary Valve Sound System!!

Hospitality In The Woods
